In the 1.300 m3 indoor and 600m3 outdoor stands, SPANOS presented its full product range divided in 6 activity sectors (Asphalt, Concrete, Mines & Quarries, Recycling, Service & Spare Parts, Rental) underlining the integrated solutions offered in each one of them. Without any doubt, the AMMANN SpeedyBach 210 asphalt plant that was displayed outdoors, has dominated the exhibition.
Within the framework of the fair, SPANOS successfully organized a conference titled “Asphalt Material: Institutional Context – New Technologies”. The highlight of the conference was the official announcement of the foundation of the Hellenic Asphalt and Road Association, a personal initiative of Mr. Odysseas Spanos, which was welcomed by all the industry-involved parties such as big contractors, academic community, QC authorities, refineries, asphalt producers and many others.
Despite the tough market situation, the exhibition attracted over 30.000 visitors from the entire Balkan area. The outcome was four days of intense work and a result that went well over any optimistic expectation.
