Is studied to stabilize and to enhance the homogeneity for polymer modified bitumen.

Acts as a catalyst between polymer and bitumen. Stabilizes the final viscosity, avoiding the separation of the polymer in the storage tank, caused by extended heat exposure.

Must be added to the mass during the production of the modified bitumen and subsequently to the complete polymer dissolution. The modification must be realized at temperatures between 190° e 210°C, therefore the product must be mixed a

t 180° – 200°C for approximately 20 – 30 minutes to allow the correct homogenization. Then, a maturation at storage temperatures is recommended for approximately 60 – 90 minutes before the final use.
