This Data Protection Notice provides you with an overview of how personal data is handled on this website by Spanos Group. This is a document that will be updated periodically to reflect the changes we’ve made to our Data Process methods as well as the demands of European Legislation.

1. Definition of Personal Data

By the term Personal data we mean any details and information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes e.g. addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and IP addresses.

2. Recording of Personal Data and Purpose of Use

Spanos Group does not record any personal data (such as IP Addresses or searches) on its own database. We use Google Analytics to provide us with anonymous usage statistics (such as the type of browsers our users use, or the time spent on a product page). Regarding our “Message Us” functionality, we do not store the message or the personal information of the sender on our database. The message is delivered to our Commercial department and it is handled according to our internal Data Protection and Information Management policies.
We also use third party plugins for displaying our social media feeds from sites such as Facebook, that might use cookies. We are currently looking into it and we will inform our users about its usage shortly. We will also provide a means to decline the usage of cookies entirely when you log on to this website.

3. Disclosure of Personal Data

Spanos Group does not disclose data to third parties unless legally obligated to.

4. Duration of Storage for Personal Data

Spanos Group does not store any personal data for any period of time. The only data stored are on Google Analytics servers and are used for statistical analysis. The terms of storage are defined by Google Analytics.

5. Right of Data Subjects

You have the right to demand access to your data from the Data Protection Officer at Spanos Group. You also have the right to object to the usage of cookies on this website (not currently applicable, functionality will be available shortly).

Spanos Group uses the following cookies for performance monitoring reasons:

_ga	Used to distinguish users.	Duration: 2 years
_gat	Used to throttle request rate. If Google Analytics is deployed via Google Tag Manager, this cookie will be named _dc_gtm_.	Duration: 1 minute
_gid	Used to distinguish users.	Duration: 24 hours
_icl_current_language	Saves the selected language this website	Duration: 24 hours
