DEFKON S.A., based in Thessaloniki – Greece, successfully operates an AMMANN Easy Batch 90 mobile asphalt batching plant.
Recently, the company has decided to proceed with an upgrade and retrofit to the latest version of Ammann’s as1 control system.
Ammann’s tried-and-tested retrofit procedure was followed during the conversion to the as1 Control System.
Experts reviewed the existing system and then incorporated current modules into the new as1 configuration.
At the same time, the asphalt plant is undergoing a major servicing and will be soon moved to the island of Limnos to serve the airport runway rehabilitation project.
